Hey guys! A lot of people have the assumption that I'm purely a classical music girl as I play the piano, violin and other instruments bla bla bla, but the truth? I love you Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin and all of the classical composers, but I'm an average teenager too =) I like songs that a typical teenager likes. I am a harsh critic when it comes to songs, so this list is a compilation of the top 10 songs that, after my intense scrutiny and judging, made it to my playlist of the day. =)
1. Taylor Swift____ Blank Space
This song is quite catchy for me, and Taylor certainly outshone herself! There is NOTHING that I DON'T LOVE ABOUT THIS SONG ! For Taylor newbies out there, this is totally a thumbs up! =)
2. One Direction____ Drag Me Down
I know Zayn Malik left 1D, and yet they pull out a song like this, will Zayn regret his decision? =)
3. One Direction_____ Night Changes
For those that love the more soothing songs (- or at least something like that, haha- ) this will be my top pick, again another epic song by One Direction! ^___^
4. One Republic____ Apologize
One Republic is actually a music group that I want to applaud for the usage of the cello throughout their songs! I love those mellow, rich tones! This song is delicious! My favourite song from One Republic!
5. One Republic___Counting Stars
Guys, listen to the lyrics, aren't they meaningful? Not to mention that catchy rhythm and tune! An ALL TIME FAVOURITE!
6. One Republic____Secrets
Have you ever experienced that phase where you keep on repeating your favourite song over and over again because you can't get enough of it? I went through that phase with this song! -thumbs up!
7. Drake___ Hotline Bling
Very catchy, but I don't get the ridiculous dance moves *?
8. Elle King___ Ex's and Oh's
One-Two-Three they're gonna run back to me =)
9. Meaghan Trainor___ Dear Future Husband
Words can't describe =) ---- an extra note, Miss Monkey from the Eh Bee family sang this song on Youtube and it is BETTER, her voice is so beautiful !
10. Omi__ Cheerleader
Go for the remix by Felix Jaehn! That version is better!
So these are the top 10 songs to make it to my billboard. I hope I helped some newbies out there, as I used to be a newbie, I understand the "I-want-to-listen-to-modern-music-but-i-don't-know-where-to-start-Google-please-help-me" feeling =D
